The Burnsville Town Council will hold a public hearing at 5:45pm on Thursday January 3, 2012 in the upstairs boardroom at the Town Hall in Burnsville, NC. The purpose of the hearing is to consider a proposed ordinance of control of cross connections in accordance with the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act (P.L. 93-523), the NC State Administrative Code (Title 15A, Subchapter C), and the NC State Building Code (Volume II) as they pertain to cross connections with the public water supply. The Town of Burnsville invites the participation and input of all citizens at the hearing.
