Sign Ordinance Draft Approved by Burnsville Town

The first draft of a new sign ordinance for the Town of Burnsville has been approved by the Town Council. The new ordinance provides businesses with sign guidelines which standardize size and appearance depending on the area of town where they are displayed, for instance signs along the bypass may be different that signs displayed in town where the rules are more refined to protect the aesthetics of the historic nature of the Town Square and other structures. Once the ordinance has passed legal review and final adoption, a hearing will be held to receive public comment.
