Details: Frank Wilson of the Newdale Community, entered into eternal rest on Christmas Eve, Monday, December 24th at his home. A native of Yancey County, he was a son of the late Charlie “Bud” and Pearl Presnell Wilson and the husband of Harriett Miller Wilson, who passed away in 1998 and Jeannie Joy Wilson, who passed away in 2008. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Iron John Wilson and a sister, Winnie Wilson McKinney. Frank loved to fish and build bird houses.
Left to cherish his memory is a daughter, Beverly Wilson and husband, Dennis Silver, of Cane Branch and a son, Frankie Wilson of the home; two sisters: True Elliott and Faye Boone, both of Newdale; a brother, Charles Wilson and wife, Juanita, of Newdale; four grandchildren: Jeremiah Silver, Sierra Silver, Isaac Silver and Ethan Wilson.
