Details:  Betty W. Sparks, age 65 of North 226 Hwy, Bakersville, NC passed away December 26, 2012 at her home. She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a daughter of the late John and Grace Peterson Webb. She was a member of Brummitts Creek Freewill Baptist Church and retired from Henredon Furniture Company.
     Survivors include her husband; Richard Sparks, of the home, one sister; Billie June Harzarik, and husband John, of Bakersville, NC, special niece; Michelle Swann, a special friend; Martha Jones, and a host of nieces and nephews.
     The family will receive friends Friday, December 28, 2012 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM in Henline – Hughes Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 1:00PM in the chapel of Henline – Hughes Funeral Home with Mike Peterson and John Stocton officiating. Interment will follow at Phillips Cemetery (Red Hill Community).
