Details:  Pansy Biddix Johnson, age 83, of Spruce Pine, passed away on Sunday, February 3rd, 2013 at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital.  She was a daughter of the late Charlie and Locke Belle McGee Biddix.  She was also preceded in death by sisters and brothers:  Zora Belle, Dora Lou, Cara Lee, Newton Earl, Nettie Geneva, Ernest David, Dealie Virginia, Clarkston Taylor and Beeler Otto.
     Surviving are her husband, Richard Johnson; four daughters:  June York and husband, Larry, of Valdese, Jeri Greene and husband, Lloyd, of Morganton, Christine Smith and husband, Mark, of Defiance, MO, and Kendra McKinney and husband, Teddy of Spruce Pine; a son, Danny Wyatt and wife, Diane, of Spruce Pine; a sister, Agnes Autrey of Morganton; 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.  
     Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5th at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.  Rev. Burl Grindstaff will officiate.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 prior to the services at the church.
