Details: The Reverend Roy Wayne Clifton Houser Sr. went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 1st at the residence of his daughter in Jonesborough.
     Rev. Houser was a native of Blountville, TN and the son of the late Joseph William and Mary Lee Almroad Houser. He was also preceded in death by three grand children.
     Rev. Houser loved to go bear hunting.
     Survivors include his wife Betty O’Neal Houser, children, Penny Wilson, Ashville NC, Roy Wayne Houser Jr., Jonesborough,Kathy Adams, Jonesborough, Robin Bennett, Green Mountain, NC, Joseph Houser, Greeneville, TN, Trixie Briggs, Green Mountain, NC, and Vickie Greene, Jonesborough, TN; twenty-one grand children, eleven great-grand children; one sister Ruth Chapman, Greeneville TN and several nieces and nephews.
     The Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM on Monday, February 4, 2013 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.
     Funeral services for Mr. Houser will be Tuesday, February 5, 2013 1:00 PM at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Scalf and Rev J.W. Mann officiating. Graveside services will follow at Fairview Cemetery with Russell Wheeler officiating.
     In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.
