Parkway Playhouse Producing Artistic Director, Andrew Gall has been appointed to the Board of the Southeastern Theatre Conference as the representative for the state of North Carolina. The Southeastern Theatre Conference is a membership organization serving 10 states. Gall, who has been the Producing Artistic Director for Parkway Playhouse since 2004, has garnered regional attention as well as critical praise and awards from within the performing arts community for his accomplishments in Burnsville. His tenure has been characterized with audience growth, a strong dedication to regionally based performers and writers, as well as improvements to the historic Parkway Playhouse facility. As a member of the Board, Gall will represent theatre artists and administrators from across North Carolina, and participate in decision-making that will further the growth of the industry. Gall will continue with his duties at the Parkway Playhouse and as a member of the Arts and Sciences Faculty at Mayland Community College.
