The North Carolina Extension will hold a Shiitake Mushroom Inoculation Workshop Wednesday March 6th from 3:00pm-6:00pm at the Bakersville Fire Department to teach you how to grow your own mushrooms.  Dr. Omon and his staff from A&T will be presenting.  Participants should bring three logs each, preferably oak, but other hardwoods are acceptable.  You will be able to bring two logs home with you.  The cost of the workshop is $5.  Pre-registration is recommended and can be done by calling 688-4811.
