Details: Willie Mae Monroe age 60, of Pine Branch Rd, Spruce Pine, NC passed away March 5, 2013. She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a daughter of the late William and Vernie Jones Monroe.
She was a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, and was employed with Mitchell County Schools as an Assistant Kindergarten Teacher.
Survivors include; three sisters; Kathy Heaton, Mary Pearson, and Annie Hughes, all of Spruce Pine, NC, eighteen nieces and nephews, and a special grand nephew, Will Bartholomew.
She was preceded in death by her brothers; Horace, Jerry, and Bill Revis.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Henline – Hughes Funeral Home with Elder Don Heaton officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow at Phillips Cemetery (Phillips Lane), Spruce Pine, NC.
