Burnsville Little Theatre Presents "A Christmas Past"

The Burnsville Little Theatre invites you to take a stroll down memory lane this holiday season when they present "A Christmas Past".  As the title suggests, the evening is a trio of Christmas stories taken from radio and television's "Golden Age".
The first is a monologue "A Child's Christmas in Wales" written for BBC Radio in 1942.  This work of prose tells the authors personal Christmas experiences as a child growing up in Wales.  The second is taken from the annual Christmas show of radio's "all-time favorites", Amos and Andy entitled "Andy Plays Santa Claus".  The program was performed each Christmas on radio for more than twenty years.  The final part of the BLT production is Jackie Gleason's 1955 Honeymooners television show, "Twas the Night Before Christmas".  Many of you may have fond memories of those black and white TV programs with Ralph Kramden and his wife Alice with their neighbors Ed and Trixie Norton.
Come join the BLT for a stroll down memory lane to those days of yesteryear when programs were more wholesome, there were no laugh tracks and commercials were few and far between.  This Burnsville Little Theatre production is scheduled for the Town Center December 20th and 21st at 7:30pm.  All proceeds will go to Ronnie Robinson II who was involved in an accident recently.  For more information call 682-2609.
