The Council also reviewed the town’s long term liabilities and cash position as well as the 2013 audit that was presented at the January meeting. Also discussed was the council’s commitment to begin contributions to post employment benefits and to provide plans on open ended projects such as the town’s responsibility to maintain sidewalks on the bypass once the road project is completed. Other items discussed included an elevator for the Town Hall, various business incentives and security services for public housing.
