Auditions for Burnsville Little Theatre's Spring Production, "Harvey"
The Burnsville Little Theatre will be holding auditions for its spring production of "Harvey" on Friday February 28th from 6:30pm-8:30pm at the Mountain Heritage Center on Green Mountain Road across from the Parkway Playhouse. "Harvey" was written in 1944 by American playwright Mary Chase and won the Pulitzer Prize for drama. It has been adapted for film and television several times but is best known from the 1950 film adaptation starring Jimmy Stewart as Elwood P. Dowd and his imaginary friend Harvey, a six and a half foot white rabbit. The auditions are being held to fill a cast of 12 adults, six female and six male. The Burnsville Little Theatre extends an invitation to anyone interested in becoming a member of this community theatre family to assist in set construction, lights/sound, concessions, and box office. All profits from the Burnsville Little Theatre's productions are given to local charities. For more information call Bob Wilson at 682-2609.
