NCDOT Awards Contract for Road Improvements in Madison County
The N.C. Department of Transportation has awarded a contract to improve 12.5 miles of highway and secondary roads in Madison County.
The $2,451,367 projects includes milling, resurfacing and shoulder reconstruction of two sections of U.S 25/70, one section of N.C. 209, and six sections of secondary roads.
Work on the project can begin as early as March 31, with the project scheduled for completion by mid-October.
