Town Supports Employment Program

The Town of Burnsville Public Works is participating in Mayland Community College’s Adult Education/GED® program Partner-in Education and Employment Program.

The College appreciates the dedication and professional partnership developed between the Town of Burnsville Public Works employees and Mayland. Each community partner assists Mayland in sharing the word regarding GED® changes and supports Mayland students and the mission of excellence and opportunity at the College.

Mayland’s Adult Education Program is now offering an Adult High School option for students. Individuals can work toward earning credits for a high school diploma during day and evening hours at the College’s Mitchell, Avery or Yancey County sites. There are no tuition or fees for the Adult High School Program.

For more information on the Adult High School Program call 828-766-1208.
