Contracted Project Manager


A planning grant has been awarded by HRSA to the Blue Ridge Regional Hospital Foundation in collaboration with eleven community partners.  The grant includes a *CONTRACTED PROJECT MANAGER* to begin immediately and implement the terms of the grant by summer 2015.

The purpose of the proposed project is to implement and further develop the
Connected Care Remote Home Monitoring Network (CCRHMN), a network of
partners focusing on remote home monitoring technology and the potential
applications to the rural population in order to achieve increased access
to care, lower health costs and improved patient experience.

*Details of the Role*

The Project Manager will commit approximately 1 FTE to the project and will
be hired as a contractor. The Project Manager will be responsible for the
day-to-day activities of the project and CCRHMN by working with key
stakeholders and project partners to develop a strategic plan for remote
home monitoring.

The Project Manager reports to the Network Director and the CCRHMN on a
regular basis and will maintain relationships with current and prospective
CCRHMN members.

The Project Manager is also responsible for working directly with vendors
to evaluate technology options and will perform data collection and
analysis as needed.

Consultant invoices will be paid according to a schedule of progress, based
on the scope of work in the grant. The budget for this work is $55,000 and
it must be completed by August 31, 2015.

The ideal candidate:

·       Has a Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) and 1-3 years experience as a
Project Manager.

·       Has experience facilitating community collaboration, developing &
maintaining professional relationships and providing communication between
parties.

·       Can manage multiple priorities in a timely fashion.

·       Is familiar with the three-county region: McDowell, Yancey, &
Mitchell in western North Carolina.  Knowledge of local healthcare systems
is helpful, but not required.

·       Can collect and report data on project to stakeholders and granting
agency.

Ridge Regional Hospital Foundation and with the Center for Rural Health
