Kim Hodshon, the Career and Technical Education Director for Mitchell County Schools, was recently awarded the prestigious Western Regional Instructional Management Coordinator (IMC) of the Year award. Kim was chosen by her peers to represent the western region, which consists of 19 LEAs, in the state competition this summer. There are six regions throughout the state that will have participants in the summer competition. Kim is an exemplary leader and an advocate for the CTE program and has exhibited great leadership, communication and teamwork skills as she has directed the CTE program in Mitchell County the last few years. The administration, faculty and staff of the Mitchell County School System congratulates Kim on this accomplishment and commends her on her continued efforts as well as wishing her the best of luck in the state competition.
