On Saturday, May 17th, over 170 participants and volunteers covered the streets of Burnsville for the 5th Annual Burnsville Fit Families 5K Run sponsored by Graham Children’s Health Services. “It was exciting to see so many kids and families out participating in this great event,” said Oscar Weinmeister, Graham Children’s Health Services Board Chair. “We hope these youth and their families will commit to a lifetime of fitness. The 5K is a wonderful way to get our kids excited about exercise and is a great way for our community to support them.”
The top overall finisher was Tal Galton. Complete race results can be found at www.healthyyancey.org. “We are so thankful to all of the participants, volunteers and sponsors that made this event possible.
