What do you do when you get accepted to the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston? First, you are thrilled since the acceptance rate for Berklee is less than 20%, and you will be studying in the company of fine musicians from all over the world. But then you have to come up with tuition. This is what has happened to Yancey County's Mat Sigmon. The solution? Mat, family and friends have joined together to do a series of musical concerts to help raise the necessary funds. Since this is a "donations only" series, there will be no tickets sales and no reserved seating, its general admission for all three shows but donations are greatly appreciated! Parkway Playhouse is generously donating their venue to help Mat, as is Higgins. The musicians are all donating their time.
