Meeting on Religion in School - Thursday

Have you ever wondered what your child can legally do to express their faith as a student within North Carolina public schools?  Can they bring a Bible to class?  Can school assignments contain a  reference to biblical or Christian themes or ideas?  Can students wear Christian t-shirts or jewelry? Find out the answers to these questions and many more!  This information is designed specifically for students, parents, teachers, and school administrators and led by Dr. Mark Creech, of the Christian Action League of North Carolina.   Join us Thursday, August 28 in the Courtroom of the Yancey County Courthouse at 6 p.m.  For more information call 828-537-0113.  Sponsored by the Blue Ridge Values Coalition.
