Vivien Ann Clark Phillips, age 75 of U.S. 19-E in Newland, the Ingalls community, died Sunday, August 24, 2014 at her home.
Vivien was a lifelong resident of Avery County; she was the daughter of the late Lester and Owana Vance Clark. She was preceded in death by her brothers; Steve and Gary Clark.
Surviving children are her daughter; Cynthia Phillips of Ingalls; Jim Phillips and wife, Susan of Burnsville and Alan Phillips and wife, Anne of Burnsville; eight grandchildren; Jessie, Matthew, Valerie, Gracie, Tony, Mikaela, Sophia, and Aleyna. Nieces and nephews are too many to name.
The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence at the funeral service honoring the life of Vivien Phillips on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Webb Funeral Home with the Rev. Toni Ruth Phillips Smith officiating. A time to receive friends and share memories and support the family will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Webb Funeral Home.
