Trey Robinson Breaks the 3000 Yard Mark



Just one week after breaking the state record for most points in a gameat 52, Mountain Heritage senior Trey Robinson broke the 3,000-yard rushing mark for the season last week in the cougar win against Hendersonville. Robinson has rushed for 3,004 yards and 43 touchdowns during this football season and that is the best in North Carolina.  His game average is 231 yards on 9.7 yards a carry.  His 167 career touchdowns is the second most in North Carolina football history, 11 behind T.A. McLendon, who set the record in 2001 for Albernarle.
