Joyful Noise Singers at Spruce Pine UMC
The Joyful Noise Singers will present "You Raise Me Up", an evening of song and worship, Friday June 21st at 7:00pm at the Spruce Pine United Methodist Church. The Joyful Noise Singers are traveling to North Carolina and South Carolina on their 13th choir mission this summer. Their youth choir is a group of about 20 youth and 10 adults. Each summer they travel to various areas presenting a contemporary, high energy Christian musical service to various churches and communities. The worship program includes music, drama and dance. It’s upbeat, and appropriate for youth and adults of all ages. Everyone is welcome.

There will be a Benefit Singing Saturday June 22nd at 6:00pm at Browns Creek Amphitheatre for Holt Whitson, Pastor of Halls Chapel Baptist Church, and Tammy Allen. The 89th Annual Singing on the Mountain will be held Sunday June 23rd from 8:30am-3:00pm at MacRae Meadows at Grandfather Mountain in Linville, NC. Singing will be "The Legendary" Chuck Wagon Gang, Michael Combs, The Cockman Family, Johns River Quartet, The Greenes, Ernie Couch and Revival, The Gospel Enforcers, Patricia Smith of Abundance Ministries, and Terry Warren and will be hosted by Tim Greene. Enjoy a special message by Will Graham, son of Franklin Graham and grandson of Billy Graham. No admission will be charged. Camping is available without hookups on the grounds June 16-24. Food and merchandise vendors will be set up. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy this great singing.

The Mitchell County Shepherd's Staff has new hours. They are open Monday and Wednesday from 10:00am-4:00pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00am-6:00pm. They are closed daily from noon-1:00pm for lunch.
