Immigration Law Talks

Beckie Moriello, a bilingual and nationally recognized expert on immigration law, will share her knowledge of US immigration law in two separate presentations on April 14. A frequent speaker at immigration attorney conferences, Beckie trains other immigration attorneys to achieve better outcomes for their clients. She believes that hard work and a kind soul matter more than place of birth.

From 1pm to 3pm, Moriello will present Immigration Law 101, in English, in the Fellowship Hall at First Baptist Church on the Town Square in Burnsville. She will address questions like, “Why are there so many undocumented people in the United States?” and “Why won’t they do it the right way?” Attendees will hear about the motivations and challenges faced by immigrants living among us.

From 4pm to 6pm, Moriello will be at Trinity Episcopal Church in Spruce Pine to present a forum in Spanish for the immigrant community. Among other topics, she will explain how American born children can sponsor their parents for work permits and the 10-year rule. Time will be provided for attendees’ questions to be answered.

Beckie Moriello is the owner and founder of Raleigh Immigration Law Firm where attorneys use creativity, passion, and persistence to do everything possible to win their clients’ cases, keep families together, and get more people working and driving legally in the US. She despises the absurdity of treating people differently based on where they were born and does not understand why the government interferes in determining who it “allowed” to work.

First Baptist Church in Burnsville, Trinity Episcopal Church in Spruce Pine, Sister Peggy Verstege,
RSM of Burnsville and Patti Louise Smith, attorney and founder of Chrysalis Immigration Law in Burnsville have collaborated with Beckie Moriello to make these educational talks possible and anticipate presenting similar programs in the future. Please note: I have a shorter version of this if you would like me to send it. Also, if I inadvertently sent this already, I apologize. I was looking for images and my submission disappeared. I have been having trouble with the images as I did not create them and am not familiar with png.
Thank you
