The Green Party Added to Voter Registration Forms

The  State Board of Elections has officially recognized the Green Party and  released a newly designed voter registration application form, with the option of registering with the North Carolina Green Party. The new application is available for download through the State Board website, NCSBE.gov.   Hard copies soon will be distributed to county boards of elections and other agencies and organizations that provide voter registration services. The new registration form allows voters to register with the Green party as well as the Democratic, Libertarian or Republican parties or unaffiliated. The Green Party will choose its nominees by convention this year  instead of the May 8 primary.  Prospective voters have until 5 p.m. Friday, April 13 to meet the May 8 primary voter registration deadline.  One stop and early voting is April 19 through May 5th.
