The North Carolina Tobacco Trust Fund has awarded TRACTOR in Burnsville a $67,576 grant for the Growing TRACTOR Farmers and Supporters project. This project will purchase a sweet corn harvester and reusable harvest bins for shared use by member farmers. This equipment will increase efficiency and thus decrease harvest time by 97 percent.
