Jenell McPeters Robinson, age 72, of Burnsville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 13th, 2019. A native of Yancey County, she was a daughter of the late Ray and Mary McPeters. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Robinson who passed away in 2016 and a sister, Ethel Robinson.
Surviving is her daughter, Lisa Isom and husband, Bill, of Morganton; sons: Guy Robinson and wife, Sherry, of Burnsville and Tim Robinson and wife, Renee, of Green Mountain; grandchildren: Natasha Robinson, Nick Robinson, Christian Robinson, Brian Laws and wife, Joni, Travis Laws and Billy Isom, III; great-grandchildren: Nathan, Nova, Sydney and Tyler; sisters: Nita Carroll and husband, Leroy, of Forest City, Marilyn Wilson and husband, Elbert, of Burnsville and Jessie Presley and husband, Paul, of Marion and brothers: James McPeters and wife, Margaret, of Pensacola, Rick McPeters of Pensacola, Wendell McPeters of Marion, Archie McPeters of Marion and Terrell McPeters of Swiss. Several nieces, nephews and other extended family also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16th in the Chapel of Yancey Funeral Services. Rev. Tommy Murphy will officiate. Burial will follow in the Eddie McMahan Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 1 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. At all other times the family will be at her home at 216 Reservoir Road, Apt. 16.
