Louella Carpenter, age 59, of Red Bud Lane in Spruce Pine, the Franklintown community, died Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine.
Born on October 22, 1959, she was the daughter of the late David and Effie Jones Osborne. She was a member of the Whites Memorial Baptist Church and had been a Sunday School Teacher there for many years.
Louella loved her family and especially her five grandchildren. During her life, she touched many lives, was a friend to all and cared for others before herself. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, going to yard sales and working with crafts.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband of forty-one years; Kenny Carpenter of the home; her son; Kenneth Carpenter and wife, Kelly of Spruce Pine; her daughter; Kayla Carpenter and husband, Ryan Briggs of Spruce Pine; her grandchildren; Braxton, Ashton, Trinity, Lainey, and Thea; and a number of brothers and sisters that she dearly loved.
The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence at the funeral service honoring the life of Louella Carpenter on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Whites Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev’s. Roger Griffin and Luther Carver officiating. A time to support the family, share memories and receive friends will be on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Webb Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Whites Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will lie in state one prior to the service at the church.
