The American Red Cross has issued an urgent appeal for blood donations especially Type O, as their supplies of this blood type are severely low. A blood drive is scheduled for Today, from 1:00 pm – 5:30 pm at Higgins Memorial United Methodist Church in Burnsville. To schedule an appointment call 800-733-2767. Another blood drive is scheduled for May 2nd at Newdale Fire Department.
