Mitchell Food and Nutrition Students Learn How to Make Bread

On Friday November 1st Brian Bullis, parent of Food and Nutrition II student Garrett Bullis visited the class to demonstrate making yeast bread. Mr. Bullis talked to the kids about why making bread from scratch was so worth the time and effort.  Brian shared with the students his passion for making homemade breads and learning new recipes. He demonstrated the correct technique to measure and mix the bread dough ingredients and the importance of yeast in the dough. The students were then able to sample a loaf he had prepared earlier and the results were amazing. Thanks to Mr. Bullis for showing MHS students that learning and creating is important at any age.
