Yancey County has declared today J. Ardell and Remelle Sink Day. In spite of a weather forecast for snow the event will be held tonight as planned. Everyone is invited this evening to the Burnsville Town Center. Refreshments at 5 followed by special presentations at 6 pm. Presented by Altec, Appalachian Java, Babe’s Pizza and Treats, Bantam Chef, Bubba’s Good Eats, Garden Deli, Hwy 55, Ingles, Laura’s Pizza and Trattoria, Lil Smoky’s, Pigs and Grits, Twisted Laurel, White Falls Catering and Ye Olde Country Store.
