As the news changes daily our reaction to it changes daily as well. Last week we remained open regular hours by taking lots of precautions, limiting contact, and doing most everything by phone, or email, or mail. We want to be of service without putting you or ourselves at risk. We hope everyone is working some good knit, crochet, or stitch into their daily schedule. Please share photos with us! This week, Monday, March 23 through Saturday, March 28, we will be in the store regular hours 10-5. However, we are going to have the door locked. If you call us 828-536-5193, we will make arrangements to meet your needs. Certainly every store and restaurant in Burnsville needs your business, especially now. We will be working hard, behind the scenes, to make a better shopping/dining experience for you once everyone is able to reopen. Right now there is take out, pick up, and delivery or shipping. Please consider one of these options. If your income has been interrupted and you need something, please let us know. We are #strongertogether and we will work as a community to make sure everyone is okay. If you are fortunate that your income has not been interrupted, please consider buying some gift certificates, or contributing to the gofundme campaigns of the restaurants around town. Most of them are offering free food to the school kids once a day. Lots of people were using Main Street as a safe and flat place to walk last week. By keeping a safe distance it seems like a healthy way to be outside. We will try to keep new things in our window every few days so you don’t get bored whether you are walking or taking a drive.
