How’s “Stay at Home Working Out”

Since the Governor’s order earlier this week to Stay at Home.. How’s that been going?

One company said the answer is being provided by cell phones. And the study shows North Carolina could be doing a lot better when it comes to social distancing.

Unacast uses location data to look at clusters of people in the same spots at the same times. It then compares that information to information before the coronavirus pandemic. The data is constantly changing. Right now, North Carolina scored a D minus. About a week ago, the state’s score was a B.

Dare County residents were ranked the state’s best, receiving and A minus on the Unacast Social Distancing Scoreboard. Several Western North Carolina counties, including Buncombe, received Bs.
