Born on March 4, 1962 in Mitchell County, she was the daughter of Eugene Gurley and the late Anna Carolyn Young Gurley who passed away in Jan. 2019.
Left to cherish her memories are her father; Eugene Gurley, of Bakersville, two brothers; Tracy Gurley of Bakersville and Christopher Gurley of Mooresville, NC and a niece; Courtney Gurley of Spruce Pine.
Angela was a big NC Wolf Pack fan and enjoyed watching their games, she also loved to read. Angela was a very outgoing and friendly lady.
No memorial services are planned at this time.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that any donations be made to help the funeral costs.
