Dennis Edward Robinson, age 69, of the Arbuckle Community, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 14th, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
A native of Yancey County, he was a son of the late Mack and Geraldine Robinson. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael Robinson.
Dennis loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughters; Nikki Presnell and husband, Brian, of Newdale and Misty Hall and husband, Chris, of Possum Trot; grandchildren: Haley Daniels and husband, Steven, of Spruce Pine, Colby Presnell and wife, Hannah, of Burnsville, Corey Presnell of Newdale, Keaton Hall of Possum Trot and Kason Hall also of Possum Trot; great-grandchildren: Everett Brian and Deacon Price Presnell and a brother, Darrell Robinson of Newdale. Several other extended family members also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 17th in the Chapel of Yancey Funeral Services. Rev. Glen Autrey will officiate. Burial will follow in the Cane River Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p. m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
The family would like to say a very special thank you to Ciji Dellinger and all the staff at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Blue Ridge for the wonderful care given to Dennis.
