Part-Time Bookkeeper

Mitchell-Yancey Habitat for Humanity (MYHFH) is looking for an experienced part-time bookkeeper. Responsibilities include: maintain all permanent financial files; perform in QuickBooks daily bookkeeping entries, including receipts of mortgage payments, donations, expenses, and all administrative and operational expenses; maintain homeowner financial status and information in Mortgage Ledger and QuickBooks; reconcile bank statements; prepare financial reports for the Treasurer/Board of Directors; monitor and report variances versus expense budgets; write and file reports to government agencies and HFHI.
