Burnsville’s violent crime rate was 0 per 1000 residents compared to 11.3. Burnsville’s property crime rate was 5.5 per 1000 residents, compared to 30.9. The other nine small cities in the top ten are Trent Woods, Whispering Pines, Lake Lure, Jefferson, Biltmore Forest, Pine Level, Rose Hill, Dobson and Grifton.
