Charles Lucas Hill, age 39, of the Indian Creek Community, passed away on Monday, September 21st, 2020 at his home.
A native of Yancey County, he was the son of Kenneth Hill and the late Helen Lowery Hill. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ernest and Bea Lowery and paternal grandparents, Quince and Irene Hill.
Luke worked in construction most of his life and enjoyed riding and trading horses.
Surviving in addition to his father, Kenneth, is his sister, Kassie Hill of Bristol, TN; niece, Jodi Hill; nephews: Levi McIntosh and Daniel Hill and an aunt, Sheila McCurry and husband, Jim, of Burnsville. Several other relatives in Alabama also survive.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 25th in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Rev. Jerry Shelton will officiate.
