Today marks the start of One Stop – Early Voting in North Carolina.
Eligible voters may also register to vote and vote on the same day during the one-stop early voting period. The in-person early voting period begins ends Saturday, October 31
During early voting, voters may cast a ballot at any early voting site in their county. This is different from Election Day when registered voters must vote at their assigned precinct.

The Yancey County early voting location is at the Board of Elections Office on the Burnsville Bypass.
The hours in both counties are 8am to 7:30pm weekdays, 8 am to 6 pm on Saturdays and 8 am until 3 pm on the Final Early voting day October 31st.
Election Day is Tuesday November 3rd with polls open from 6:30 am until 7:30 pm.
