Evelyn Bradford Morrow, age 69, of Fairview, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 10th, 2020 at Fleshers Fairview Health Care Center.
A native of Yancey County, she was a daughter of the late Richmond and Ruby Calloway Bradford. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bill “Mule Man” Morrow; daughter, Ruthie Morrow; sister, Marjorie Brown and a brother, Richard Bradford.
Evelyn enjoyed canning, cooking, gardening, watching her birds and especially Elvis Pressley. She adored her family.
Surviving is her children: Christine Holley and husband, Wes, of Fairview; Jennifer Odette and husband, Brian, of Candler, Crystal Morrow of Fairview and Laura Amerson and husband, Larry, of Fletcher; sister, Alice Kenner of Mills River; grandchildren: Kody, Nathan, Ivy, Jessica, Breanne, Arianna, Alyssa, Savannah, Sydney, Sienna, Taylor, Kaden and Oviet; great-grandchildren: Axel, Oliver and Eleanor. Several other step-grandchildren who she loved and other extended family members also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 21st in the Chapel of Yancey Funeral Services. Pastor Mike Anderson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Piney Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
