Kandie Lynn-Rae Willis, age 42, of Crabtree Acres in Spruce Pine, the Estatoe community, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at her home.
Born on June 6, 1978 in Mitchell County, she was the daughter of Kathy Willis who still survives.
Kandie was very artistic, she loved working with crafts including making baskets, drawing, and painting. She had previously worked as a C.N.A.
Left to cherish her memories are her mother; Kathy Willis of Spruce Pine; her daughters; Emily Wantz and Karoline Willis both of Spruce Pine; her son; Gabriel Willis of Canton, NC; her grandchildren; Cerenity and Harrison; several aunts and uncles.
A service will be planned and announced at a later date.
