Travis Kemp, age 41, of Knoxville, TN, formerly of Spruce Pine, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021.
Born on September 5, 1979 in Burke County, he was son of Lina Osborne Dayton. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dave and Effie Osborne.
Travis enjoyed traveling and recently had lived in California. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and riding four wheelers.
Left to cherish his memories are his mother; Lina Dayton of Spruce Pine; his sisters; Tina Kemp of Spruce Pine and Wendy Ledford of Ingalls; his brothers; Paul Wise and wife, Lori of Unicoi, TN, Mark Wise of Granite Falls and Scott Wise and wife, Nicole of Hiddenite, NC and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will held on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 3:00 pm at the White’s Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Josh Cook officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the White’s Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.
