Ray Biddix, age 75, of Altapass Road in Spruce Pine, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at B & L Home Care in Bakersville.
Born on March 21, 1946 in Mitchell County, he was the son of the late Gird and Martha Stamey Biddix. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother; Hubert Biddix and his sisters; Iris Sparks, Patty McKinney, and Joyce Carpenter.
Ray was a member of the Berry Chapel Baptist Church. He enjoyed working at home, working in the yard, and mowing the lawn. He also enjoyed fishing, watching t.v. and really enjoyed watching old western movies.
Left to cherish his memories are his brother; Tommy Biddix and wife, Linda of Spruce Pine and several nieces and nephews that he dearly loved.
Graveside services and interment will be on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 2:30 pm at the Berry Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Greg Hollifield officiating. Friends may stop by the funeral home on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm to view and sign the guestbook.
