Shirley Marie Riddle Linville, 82, of Mechanicsville, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 23, 2021.
Born in Yancey County, she is the daughter of the late Francis (France) and Leatha McIntosh Riddle. She is also preceded in death by her four brothers: Jimmie, Leroy, Bennie and Gary Riddle.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, George Linville; four sisters: Jessie Sowder (Charles), Christine Humphrey, Thanna Smith (Bobby) and Judy Smith (Paul); as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of New Highland Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Hanover Memorial Park in Mechanicsville.
