Born on October 5, 1939 in Unicoi County, TN, he was the son of the late Cornie and Grace Yelton Hoilman. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son; Brian Hoilman; his brothers; Bruce, J.C., Arthur, and Ronnie Hoilman and his sisters; Louise Burleson and Helen Hoilman.
Bobby retired as a carpenter and roofer.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife; Donna Hoilman of the home; his sons; Bobby Joe Hoilman and wife, Fran of Spruce Pine and Clayton Hoilman of Bakersville; his grandchildren; Lucas, Rebecca, Maria, Bethany, and Anna. his great granddaughter; Emma Jane; his brothers; Edward Hoilman of Bakersville and Wayne Hoilman and wife, Cathy of Burnsville; and his sisters; Dorothy Stevens of Bakersville, Bette Wade of West Virginia, and Carolyn Pendley of Spruce Pine.
Graveside services and interment will be on Friday, May 28, 2021 at 11:00 am in the Bailey Cemetery on John Sparks Road in Bakersville. Bobby’s grandson, Lucas Hoilman will be speaking.
