Patrick Ray Bradford

Patrick Ray Bradford, age 57 of Burnsville, went home to be with his heavenly Father Friday, July 16th, 2021. A native of Yancey County, he was the son of Ethel Lou Fender Bradford and the late Junior Ray Bradford. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by infant twin brothers, Kelly Joe and Keith Jason; maternal grandparents, Howard and Pearl Fender; paternal grandparents, Joe and Nell Bradford.

Patrick studied IT Computer Sciences at Lees McRae College and Business Administration at Mayland Community College, and pursued his talent at the Art Institute of Atlanta. He served as Sunday School Teacher and was a faithful member of Peterson’s Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. He was the Toe River Project Access Coordinator for Care Reach.

Surviving is his wife, April Bradford; mother, Ethel Lou Fender Bradford; sons: Levi Bradford and Brayden Wyatt; daughter, Ashleigh Jones (Christian); sister, Crystal Peterson (Mike); and one grandson, Chapel Jones; niece, Mikalyn Beysher (Austin); and a host of Fenders, all of Burnsville. Also, in-laws, Sandy and Mike Holt of Asheville.

Services will be held Tuesday, July 20th in the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home at 3 p.m. The family will receive friends and loved ones an hour prior to service time. Reverend Terry Jones and Reverend Keith Miller will officiate. Burial will follow the service at the Fender Cemetery in Burnsville.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holcombe Brothers to assist with final arrangements.
