Hospital Back To Limited Visitation

Effective today, July 27, the Mission health system which includes Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine, has gone back to a Level 2 Visitation status. This means that each patient is only allowed one visitor per day. That one visitor is allowed to stay overnight. They have also implemented passive screening, which is questioning of all visitors to the hospital. And they require everyone to put on a mask before entering the building. These new requirements will remain in place until further notice.
