Eva Mae Wilson, age 84, of Burnsville, passed into eternal rest on Sunday, August 1st, 2021 at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital. A native of Mitchell County, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Pauline Greene Lloyd. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wilson; son, Dennis Wilson and a grandson, Scotty Wilson. Eva Mae loved to cook, go to flea markets but especially loved her family and grandchildren.
Surviving is her children: Danny Wilson and wife, Janice, of Lincolnton, Donna Cook and husband, Bryan, of Lincolnton, Destiny Wilson and Jonathan Hammett of Claremont, David Ray Wilson of Hickory and Dustin Wilson and wife, Deirdre Caudill, of Burnsville; grandchildren: April, Bryan, Colin, Denny, Daniel, Savannah, Shelby, Wyatt, Brandy, Santana, Alex, Jordan, Emily, Kensley and Emma; great-grandchildren: Sabrina, Mallory, Easton, Adalynn, Henry, Dean, Kaylin, Zachery, Jeremia, Elijah, Zeke, Aubree and Urijah and a sister, Vonnie Norman of Newdale.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 4th in the Chapel of Yancey Funeral Services. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 6th in Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Claremont, NC.
