Kermit Randal Biddix

Kermit Randal Biddix, age 67, of Old NC 226 in Spruce Pine passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at his home.

Born on April 17, 1954 in Mitchell County, he was the son of the late Rufus Biddix, Sr. and the late Gladys Elliot Biddix. Also preceding Kermit in death was his sisters; Betty Wyatt and Ophelia Yelton.

Kermit loved spending time with his family and friends. In his spare time he loved to go fishing and he loved his special cat, Gismoe.

He was a minister of the Gospel that loved the Lord.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of sixteen years; Sandy McKinney Biddix of the home; his sisters; Brenda Wright of Spruce Pine; Patricia Biddix of Spruce Pine; Shelia Gaddy of Marion; and Angela Sawyer and husband, David of Weaverville; his brothers; Rev. Rufus Biddix, Jr. of Elk Park; Richard Biddix of California; and Kenneth Ray ‘Bud’ Biddix of Spruce Pine; and several nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by Valerie Constable who knew Kermit and Sandy as ‘Maw and Paw’.

A time to support the family, share memories, and receive friends will be on Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Webb Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Webb Funeral Home with the Rev’s. Rufus Biddix, Jr. and Brent Nidiffer officiating. Interment will be in the Spruce Pine Memorial Cemetery.
