Faye Hoilman Robinson, age 90, of the Double Island Community, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 13th, 2021 at her home.
A native of Yancey County, she was a daughter of the late Dewey and Nettie Robinson Hoilman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Robinson; a brother, Joe Hoilman and son-in-law, Roby Wilson. Faye loved God, her family, her birds and flowers.
Surviving is her daughters: Glenda Wilson and Regina Robinson Woody (Steve); sons: David Robinson (Denise) and Daniel Robinson (Angie); grandchildren: Christy Kinser (David), Michael R. Wilson (Makeda), Mary Beth Tipton (Ronnie), Luke Robinson, Autumn Robinson, Abigail Robinson and Aaron Robinson; great-grandchildren: Jayden Woody, Katherine Wilson and Gabriela Wilson; honorary grandchildren: Cameron Kinser and Allie Wetzel and a sister-in-law, Shirley Hoilman. Several other extended family members also survive.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 15th in the Double Island Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Matt Woody officiating. Pallbearers will be: Jayden Woody, Steve Woody, David Kinser, David Riddle, Logan Riddle, Nick Riddle, David Johnson and Mike Woody.
