In a special meeting on Thursday, December 2 at 5 pm, Burnsville Town officials will recognize outgoing mayor, Theresa Coletta and council member Bunnie McIntosh. This will be followed by administering the oath of office to incoming mayor Russell Fox and council member Bill Wheeler. Newly elected board member Randy Ollis is unable to attend and will be sworn in at a later date. The new members, along with current council members, Judy Buchanan and Denise Collier, will elect a mayor pro tempore and confirm a regular meeting schedule of the first Thursday of each month at 6 pm at the Burnsville Town Center. A reception will follow. The regular December meeting will begin at 6 pm.
